Also under the Ovi umbrella is Nokia Maps, a navigation service that offers maps, city guides and more directly to compatible mobile devices. Nokia aims to bring more Internet based services to Ovi in the coming months.

You read it right, the photo shows VEPTU, the fake VERTU from China. I bought it in China last year but got only the chance to play with it now when ABS-CBN called because they heard that I have the NOKLA, NOKIR and SAMXING phones. Aside from the fake phones mentioned above, we also have fake Sony Ericsson W850i and fake O2 phones called O3.

These are cheap phones for cheap people! Cheap not only for their price (all phones mentioned above are below 10K), but also for their quality.

Fake iPhone and cracked iPhone

My source in China informed me that they could provide me with samples of fake iPhone units. He said that the "poor man's iPhone" has really stood up to its name as it was poorly manufactured, poorly designed and poorly developed. It's a dual SIM phone like many Made in China phones.

I was also informed that they have a working unit of cracked iPhone, meaning they have an "open line" unit. He said that there's a risk of converting my iPhone into a paper weight should the process of cracking it go wrong. I told him to email me how to do it... it's worth the risk.
